Dr. AnnMarie Thomas is an Associate Professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Engineering. At UST, she teaches classes on machine design, product design, and PK-12 engineering. Prior to joining the faculty at UST, AnnMarie taught at Art Center College of Design. AnnMarie and her research students developed Squishy Circuits

AnnMarie was the Founding Executive Director of the Maker Education Initiative. She regularly runs workshops, and gives talks, on the Maker Movement and education. She lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with her husband and two daughters.
